      @raysal

      I have read a couple of times on different forums that Jan Ridders Debbie engine is a nice two stroke to build but can be very hard to start once built.  Doe’s anyone know if it would work with a venturi/mixer carb instead of the vapour setup?

      thanks

        My only thought is that a venturi or traditional carb produces fine atomised droplets of fuel mixed in with the air and you may get them building up in the expansion chamber. There would also be the greater risk of flooding the engine.
