Martin I meant to ask also, did you drill/tap to fit your small oilers? As you can see from

my previous pics mine only has small oil holes and the smallest oil cups I can find have a

1/8 bsp thread? Thanks

The lathe has now gone to a new home! The oilers just sat in the top holes, no threads!

Good luck with yours, I really enjoyed bringing this one back from the dead!

Hi Martin,

I am restoring a Grayson lathe and came across your posts, showing what looks to be the same model of lathe. It came to me mostly dismantled (having been sat in a garage for 20 years rusting) and I am relatively inexperienced with this type of machinery, so looking for photos/manuals etc as to how it should be reassembled and setup for different tasks. Do you have any more photos you could send me of the finished article please?

It also points you in the direction of a book, The Amateur's Lathe, avidly read by many.
