Glanze and Arc Parting tools interchangeable?

Just wondering if the blades and tip are interchangeable. I know the ARC tips are GTN spec however called Chronos, suppliers of Glanze, and they had never heard of GTN

They are a common enough style of parting insert, along with positive rake GTP, which don't suit hobby machines.

According to Glanze's own website they use LGTN tips.

Haha Chronos IS Glanze UK. I guess they have the sole franchise for Glanze in the UK.

Pity they don't seem to know their own products.

Arc show zero stock ATM, nut APT are a good price.

Note that most are unsuitable for loominum. Cutwel used to sell uncoated for this application but even so it may be tricky going…

I seem to have good luck with carbide so long as I use plenty lube (Oh matron) however I have also bought a HSS parting tool to try
