Most days I'll check out the engineering related stuff but every day some one is listing page upon page of solitary clothing pins/studs – all offered at 1p each and for collection in person only. Whats going on there then? I wish they would go away angry.

Not seen this so maybe my search history is not overlapping a distaff element? It could be a ruse to reserve the 99p listing no ebay charges offers. Nobody bids then the listing can be recycled with a sensible item but still no fees?

I usually get mobile phone cases with a picture of a lathe on it or pictures you hamg on a wall if i type in " lathe " which irritates me no end ! Fortunately they vanish as quickly as they appeared .

The thing that has me beside myself with rage is when i search for something and click on Australia only it doesn't filter out overseas sellers because they can put AU in the location box or they put n a capitol city so you nevr know where it is coming from . Surely there has to be a law against this ! False advertising perhaps ?

Glad I'm not the only one annoyed by him. I have a standing search in that category that is limited to a 50 mile radius from me, he appeared a while ago and I wrongly thought he'd give up as I can't imagine he is selling anything.

I'm glad you posted this as I have been meaning to block this seller from my search results, which I will now do.

I realise that I could be guilty of sexism as this could easily be a she but don't care!
