does anyone know where i can get 7mm x 1mm flat stock

I should imagine 8 x 1 is a standard size which only leaves 1 mm to take off

You will probably have to get 19swg sheet (closest to 1mm), cut into strips and then mill to the 7mm width. M-Machine do the 19swg sheet

Some of the European suppliers keep a better range of small metric but can’t see it listed on the couple I have used such as GHW

Might have been Eileen’s Emporium but they have closed down. Cambrian are doing a bit of their stuff but I looked before posting and could not see 7×1
