I happened upon this and wonder whether the wrong picture was added to the account.

Yes, hovering over the photo, it’s tagged as a Japanese bunker in Papua New Guinea. I used to respect Popular Machanics…

Vegetation is hardly Romanian. Editorial staff likely have no related expertise and only mild computer literacy to assemble the stories so can easily make mistakes. We were spoilt on ME with editors who were also practicing machinists. I think some of the recent ME&W failings have been attributed to offshore publication staff.

Yes wrong photo; it’s an Alamy stock image, which really shouldn’t have made it past basic proofreading.
Seems it’s on Getty as well as Yahoo covered the same story

            This seems closer

Amazing use of concrete 5000 years ago. I’m very impressed.

However for the mixed up video,  My y10 students produce more realistic and believable presentations

Very smart archeological  dress code, pure white  blouse with manicured  fingers , but no gloves  I admire her skill in the mixture of good quality soil and dry sand…..

              what a load of tosh

That link by peak4 was as poor as my one, every type of structure except the actual one.

Oh that’s a relief.  I thought the title was referring to me.

Iwas told, George, that you don’t look a day older than 4000 years.
