If you consider tin/lead solder dangerous then avoid cadmium bearing solders but in the real world, assuming you’re not working with it day in and day out week after week in an enclosed space, it’s not a problem. No one would have been allowed to sell it for decades if it was that dangerous and there’s a ground swell of people who believe the non cadmium solders don’t flow as well. Easiflo No 2 has been the preferred default solder for years. It’s very good.

Bruce Engineering stock it but there are many others. Just do a Google. You need the flux that goes with it. My personal preference is for a separate flux rather than the fluxed rod. I’d highly recommende the Tubal Cain book on Soldering and Brazing in the Workshop Practice Series.
