Hi chaps I've just finished making a drip feed oil heater for the workshop, I have a 10mm tap in the oil line to control the flow but what I would really like is a 10mm needle valve does any one know who sells these I can't seem to find one, the one I was after is the one with the T bar type handle on the top to adjust it, Thanks in advance.

How important is the T bar handle? The needle valves I have used all had knobs.

If you know the medium (28secs oil?) and the maximum and minimum flow you should be able to get the right very fine adjustment by using a valve with the correct taper on the needle.

Swagelok do a massive range of valves so it might be worth looking at this page on their website

I made a waste oil burner years ago, used a needle valve from some machinery in a scrap yard. Sorry no idea who sells them now, but seemed to be dairy related ,if thats any help. A warning- when the shed got nice and warm the oil got thinner and the stove got hotter, much hotter.

Thank's Ian will ring them tomorrow and have a chat with them, I asked for the T handle type only because they are the type I've seen on similar heaters, Hi Gordon I know what you mean mine has already go into meltdown once that's the reason I would like better control over it, but I must admit it really does chuck out some serious heat I'm very pleased with it so far.
