Hi Folks, I am after an Imperial Dial Height Gauge. I can get digital ones easily enough but trying to get an Imperial Dial one is difficult, Any ideas where I might get one ?

Depending on what style you want and budget, there's This One on ebay at the moment.

These are available from a few sources. What size do you need?

Alan, that was the international site that I posted. I believe they ship to the UK. Since I'm in Canada, I don't have detailed knowledge of any UK-located sources.

Perhaps someone else will now that they know exactly what you are looking for.

(I have one of these btw ….. wouldn't be without it).

I managed to ferret this out for a UK source. The same company has them on eBay UK too (lower price on eBay for some reason)..

                        Where it says:-

                        Range: 0-150mm

                        Reading: 0.02mm

might be slightly at odds with his requirement for an imperial one.

                        Is the eBay one imperial?

Chronos also have them but more expensive        John

Ah … missed the "Imperial" (sorry Alan). The eBay one is the same (Metric).

Just out of interest, what is the objection to a digital one? Best of both worlds?

                              Paul.

Hi Paul, I just wanted to get away from batteries and as I prefer working in imperial it seemed the way to go.. But I got one from Rotogrip.

                                Thanks everyone for the advice.

Rotogrip is a good firm, the gauge looks nice to me.
