John Hinkley pointed us in the direction of doubleboost on youtube. However, I have been having problems with youtube recently not playing and giving an error message saying an error has occurred and please try again later.

Can anyone shed some light on this and how to get round it? Would like to view the video!

      Chris

Well, Link Deleted another link to the video – somewhat different URL, but same video. A while back I had the same problem with you tube, but clicking the 'reload page' icon on the browser usually worked. Eventually the problem just went away…

      Robin.

        ChrisH,

Sorry, I can't help with your YouTube problem, but I've just tried my link again and it works OK for me. Robin's link is a different URL because it links to another, different video, describing his 626 mill, not specifically addressing the Z-axis screw.

        John

Dave – I'm in the East Midlands (Derbyshire, about 4 miles south of Matlock). If that's within striking distance, I'd be happy to help.

          Robin.

A BIG thank you to Robin regarding this problem of mine. Not only did he provide a more than adequate lathe, he provided tea, biccies and toilet facilities over 2 days for me and my pal, Alan.

An altogether fine fellow MUCH appreciated Robinsmile

Just got to work out how to mill the pockets with the Mill in bits nowlaugh

          Thanks all

When I made this one for a friend I made it in two parts that could be bolted together after the pockets had been milled.
