      I need to order some replacement top slide nuts but have no idea what thread they are – machine is 70 yrs old, any advice please?

          Try measuring the male thread O/D plus TPI.

            Another Windy grenade post.

            Measure the damn thing. Even if ten people tell you it's 1/2" x 10 how do you know yours is ?

            They made the L5 for ages. Anyway even if ten people replied off this forum you would have a choice of 11 threads.
