I seem to be monopolising the beginners section of the forum. So please don't think I am trolling! I hope I have not rustled any ones feathers in these exchanges.

When one is working alone it is always difficult to get the right answers to sometimes simple questions. I have a friend that has lots of big kit, but he thinks I am a machining oracle!!!!!!!

I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU, to everyone that has responded to my sometimes asinine questions. Your responses have helped me considerably and I am truly grateful to everyone!

It's the wonder of becoming a member, you can gain so much from contributing to this place without really being aware of it a lot of the time. So I try to do my bit too and have helped people on here make stuff they weren't able to by themselves.

So I return the thanks, as there's no way any of this could happen if it was a one-way transaction.

I think it's truly a hallmark of humanity that we now help each other freely.
