      Probably not 'wrong', but [in my opinion] Rocol RTD compound is better.

        As Michael says its not ideal but better than nothing.

        I tend to use one of the more liquid products, CT-90, Dormer do a similar product called "Super cut"

          I tend to use the more viscous molybdenum-disulphide for large threads into steels and for smaller threads I use the more liquid rock oil cutting fluid. Before then as a cheap substitute I used Vaseline!
