Shay locomotive

As there seems to be no search facilty on the forum (well I can’t find one) I was wondering if anyone has built a 5″ two truck Shay based on the 3 1/2″ model built and recorded by Kozo Hiraoka in his book on the model.
I am recording my build of the 5″ version on my blog at twotruckshay.com and anyone who has finished one might have a few tips to pass on.

The search box does not show up at the top of an individual thread/topic as you are reading it but if you scroll down below the reply box …..VVVVVV down there……. it shows up below ‘latest replies’.
