S50 engine

Well like a lot before me I have desided to spend some money on a S50 kit, and guess what it will be my first I hope of many engines, I have a couple of things I can think of before I even start.

1) Is there a book or articles to help me.

2) When I have finished it I would like to run it on steam, so Can I build my own

Boiler and if so were would I get plans, or what size boiler should I be looking at taking into account I would like to build bigger engines in time, that is if I live long enough.

This is an article based on the S50, just change the numbers to Sally-2,3, 4 etc to get each installment.

GLR do a suitable vertical boiler that can be bought in various kit options right upto fully assembled.
