can anyone help me i am after the article on making a rivet embossing tool i have checked the data bases and can not find it i have a feeling it might have been in enginering in miature

When you say Embossing do you mean a tool for replication rivits in thin metal?

the tool is sold as kit by model engineers laser but i need the drawings to make it

the reason i want one is i don't fancy drilling 500+ 1/32 holes and fitting the rivets

MEL does say it was in EiM. I can't find it on the index but may be too recent a sit stops at 2014 maybe ask MEL what issue assuming the new owners know

I built one a while back, drawings and instructions were in the MEL kit. I think the original article was in EIM but cannot be sure (press and instructions left at my son's house so I can't check).

I'm pretty sure the kit drawings were different to the article, perhaps something to do with the guides.

hello everyone

sorry for the delay in answering your posts the drawings are in Decembers 2013 issue of engineering in minature i found it by rooting through the available copies on line

i now have a copy so thanks to everyone who tried to help
