      Hi Dennis

      Thanks for your thoughts. Luckily, the lathe in question belongs to a friend, so I could do any machining required on my Boxford. I agree it would be better to do something sooner rather than later, but convincing him may be awkward – he’s firmly in the “if it ain’t broke” camp.
