Based on LoRa which is a low power, low data rate, chirp spread spectrum comms system that has been around for over a decade. I have designed a LoRa system but the project was abandoned when the client was persuaded it wouldn’t do what they wanted. It’s not really a substitute for the internet unless one is content with dial up speeds.
