Does anybody own a Proxxon FD 150/E lathe ?

The second damaged Sieg C0 was sent back today so I am still looking for a small lathe. Does anybody own a Proxxon FD 150/E ? It has a 55mm swing. Does this mean the maximum flywheel it can turn is 55mm or 110 mm ? Is there a face plate that can be bought to go with this lathe ? It does not look like it but I find that unusual.

I think this will be too small for building stationary steam engines but I am running out of options.

Pointless suggesting C3/SC3..He has already been down that road with a C2 which I think he re-sold as may have been too big for him.

Even if he considers C2/C3, bad idea to consider from the supplier of C0. C2/C3/SC2/SC3s usually packed in plyboard case. If the courier cant handle the C0 cardboard case with polystyrene packing, they will guaranteed not be able to handle the case for the C2/C3/SC2/SC3.

Brian, I'm only guessing but I would say it should read 55mm 'center height' because it says its

height over the cross slide is 33mm. Please check with the dealer first though. John
