There seem to be two types of backhead: the round top and the square top. I have a GA showing the square type but I want dimensions for the round top. Ray McMahon did a non-prototypical boiler and so did the New Zealand 7-1/4 builder, so are no help. Mine will be 5" gauge. Has anybody uncovered any more works drawings than Ray found in the Glasgow University archives? There is a promising backhead drawing on Google images but without dimensions and too small a file to blow up to useful size.

          Information Required
SIR,–May I appeal through the medium of your
correspondence columns for information regarding a model
locomotive which I am anxious to start building‘?
Some while back in your journal there was a picture of a
live steam Darjeeling tank engine and this is the design I wish
to use. But where to locate drawings‘?
It is the B Class loco with saddle tank that I am most
interested in and these are fully described and illustrated in
          “Locomotives in Profile” Volume 2.
I would be most grateful if any of your readers could help
          me regarding these drawings.

          etc
