Hi Matt
You need to remove the two bungs (which are secured by grub screws hidden in the knee dovetail) using the threaded holes in each bung (bolt must be full depth) and two jacking bolts, one either side of the bung.
Once the bungs and rear retaining plates and seals are removed the shafts can be tapped out from the front toward the rear (there are no steps in the column to locate the bearings.) Sounds simple but everything is very tight.
Clean out the bearing oil galleries in the column as they clag up and also soak the rear Gits seal in oil before it goes back in.
Forgot to add everything has to come out to do the bearings
Also one bung has a cutout, put it back in the same orientation.
