      Hi Folks,

I am trying to identify a steady that has been lurking in my workshop.

      Can anyone help?

          Hi Mr Bear

The 2 (I can only see two) bolt holes suggest to me it mounts on a T slotted base. the holes are small so not large slots a small lathe or maybe a grinder?

From the images you can see that the bottom of the “legs” are the aligning surfaces. The edge and corners between the legs are rough so that surface is not used for support.

          Cheers
          John

I think its off a small cylindricial grinder, as the base looks like it fits a rectangular bed way
