In May I drove to mid-Germany and picked up a Boley 6LZ from 1975 and drove it home to Norway. I was traveling for work since then but when i got home I removed most of the paint and filler from the base and re-filled, primered and painted the base to its original RAL 7031 color. Most of the discoloration on the carriage and headstock was varnished oil that was with some difficulty removed.

The late came from a technical university and had sat on the 3rd floor, it has had little use.

All the accessories were included, my LZ40 is sitting in the corner looking sad, knowing that he will be sold, but i have moved from the 40’s to the 70’s. It is a much more powerful and capable machine

I was looking for a 5LZ but when this 6LZ with ball bearing spindle and all the accessories came up.. My LZ40 has plain bearings, the upgrade cost was quite high with lathe price + ferry to Denmark, travel to mid-Germany with a trailer and return. All my Multifix A holders fit + I have the big Tripan with 8 holders.
