Alexander Master toolmaker mill help !!

Hello, can anyone help with parts diagrams or personal knowledge on this mill, especially the arrangement for the screw and nut(s) for table (x axis) .. I have wear, can get the 8tpi 3/4" dia screw and a nut blank from Kingston Eng.. Very helpful people . Just need to know what is in thesaddle and what to poss look out for !! Regards Jerry

Jerry I have a copy of the Alexander manual, but it is not very detailed when it comes to the mechanisms. I also have a copy of the Deckel manual which has a bit more detail, the Alexander is a copy of this so maybe this would help. PM me with your email and I can send copies of the relevant pages.

There's a Deckel FP1 hard copy (of the) manual for £25 on homeworkshop right now. Not sure how that compares to the new price from lathes.co.uk. He may haggle of course.
