Not so definite as you! I will likely attend – dependent quite a lot on the covid situation. I will make a decision at my leisure and not be so over-hasty and making an impetuous decision.🙂

If it does happen, I shall try to be there!

Not necessarily to buy much (apart from the usual impulse buy ) but to look and support.

If it's on then I'll be there. Like Howard, probably not to buy much but exhibitions and exhibitors need to be supported or we'll lose them all.

As always, I expect I'll arrive home with a few bits and bobs I didn't know I needed until I saw them.

Like Not Done It Yet, I am keeping my options open. It will depend to some extent if one of my societies attends as it usually does – I help man the stand.

I would not be surprised if attendance at a lot of those events that do manage to operate later this year, is low; by people being very cautious, vaccinations or not.

As All those who have commented so far, Yes I also have reservations, but in an effort to support both the organisers and the fraternity I will be there, trying to entertain the troops! One way or another ! See you there ! Noel.

Having had Covid and will be getting jab 2 next Wednesday I am feeling that I will be pretty safe, I think I will buy a ticket on the day as there is plenty of time for variants to appear that we may have less protection against. My two sons and I should be going to the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July but as that is pretty much outside I think we should be ok.

The website says that prices and the ability to prebook tickets will come in July.

I wouldn’t buy tickets too soon. Just on the news, there seems to be a surge in the Indian variant of Covid-19 up north.

How large will this be? Worth a 3 hour drive and/or a hotel stay? I'm rather itching to get back to exhibitions (really enjoyed Bristol).

Hounslow (creeping up apparently) is not too many miles from me.

Will still get a ticket though.

Wouldn't be worth that for me – but it is usually a good exhibition. Maybe if you work it in with something else?

That's not a problem.Given our typical ages, we'll all have had at least two vaccinations by then (Got No2 today smiley). So we can ignore all the youf and the infectious fools.

Yes, but you aren't going to cause symptoms in anyone else who is also fully vaccinated. So Darwin steps in and removes the non-vaxers from the population. What's not to like?

Like it Mark – may not be PC but an element of truth there. Must admit I am fed up with the selfish many who think none of this applies to them, think themselves immortal, refuse the jab, throng shops, pubs, recreational areas, beaches and the like willy-ninny and lead to the next wave of the covid, disrespecting the sensible side of the population who observe the 2 metre rule, wear masks, isolate when asked, use sani like there's no tomorrow and get vaccinated when able – so Darwin, bring it on! Rant over!

Back to the thread – I also hope to be amongst the crowd who make it to the Midlands MEX, like it last time I went about 3 year ago but liked Bristol better, so pleased it's planned to be back on, hope the situation remains good for it.
