From Banjo connection on the bottom of the tender one pipe goes to the inlet of the pump.
From the outlet (bypass) of the pump a pipe goes back to the bottom connection of the bypass valve on the side of the tender.
From outlet top of bypass valve a pipe goes to the other connection on the banjo at the bottom of the tender
That is all there is to the simple minnie pipework. Engines with the pump mounted off the boiler and with a second method of filling get a bit more involved
The water actually gets into the boiler from the pump via the 1/8" hole in teh side of teh pump and the matching hole in the pump mounting pad.
