Hi all – complete novice here – bought a warco wm250 lathe with the milling head attachment – purchased as my son is doing an engineering course in tech – lathe and mill delivered today but for the life of me I cannot see how the mill is meant to attach to the lathe – can’t see any mounting points etc etc – anyone got one of these can give advice or pictures. thanks in advance – just as extra info I got them to install DRO for me not sure if that would have any bearing – cheers

Issue identified- they forgot to change the lathe bed to accept the mill head – they have offered to provide mill bed FOC which I have agreed

You have come out of that quite well then. A separate mill and lathe is definitely a better option than a combo. You will end up with basically the WM14 mill and the WM250 lathe, which is what I have had for a good number of years. For some more info on the machines have a look at mine on *** Journeyman's Workshop ***

I would consider that a result!

+ another 1. I had a problem with my WM250V which they didn't at first understand, but the conversation I had with their support officer helped me to do so, and for that and another small warranty claim they sent the parts needed promptly and without question. Good outfit IMO.
