Warco GH universal wiring?

I have a 2009 Warco GH Universal mill, which was bought secondhand.  To prevent damage during transport, the twin capacitors which are fitted to the side of the motor were removed.

Stupidly I didn’t mark the wiring so it could be connected in the same way! It’s a single phase machine, and has six wires coming out of the motor (yellow/black/red arranged in 2 groups of 3), and a terminal block with 6 connection posts, four of which are marked U1, U2, V1, V2, and 2 unmarked terminals to which capacitors are connected.

Be very grateful for any help with this, as pretty clueless on electrics.  TIA

One needs to know the type of motor it is ? you mention 2 capacitors – is one much higher value than the other. It  could be a cap start and cap run motor.  The high value will be the start cap wired from line through the centrifugal switch to the start winding. The lower value will be wired also from line to the start winding. As the motor spins up the switch will open leaving just the run cap in circuit. U1 and U2 should be the run winding and V1 and V2 the start winding. I hope this makes sense – if not come back to us.  Noel.
