Wabeco Power feed

Hi all

Hope you have all enjoyed your XMAS

I have a WABECO F 1210 milling machine i would like to fit apower feed to theX axis Wabeco no longer make this for the machine has any one fitted an after market unit and where can i obtain one

ALSO has any one have a AUTO LOCK milling Vise from ARCEURO TRADE

i would appreciate any comments on this

You might be able to retrofit one of the Align power feeds to your mill….(available at numerous machine tool outlets and online supermarkets)

I fitted one recently to my Chester 626 mill, but had to make some modifications….

MEW 118 and 119 (August/September and October 2006) had an article on making and fitting a machine table drive to a WABECO F1210 milling machine. I built one and fitted it to my machine without any problems. However I did have to change a resistor to increase the feed speed (originally it was too slow). It is well used now.

I can recommend the design. It obviously involves some machining and electronic circuit building.
