        Hi all.

I picked up this unusual little grinder which is designed for sharpening the cutting blades on industrial sewing machines.

Not having any work for such a machine I intend to modify it to sharpen tool bits and hopefully small drill bits using a Potts type grinding jig.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how they would modify the unit for the best in versatility.

          Two thoughts.

One, there's a generic similarity to the Quorn, so you could use that as your model and make new attachments for your grinder. One problem is that there's no obvious way of tilting the tool holder.

The other is to remove the existing tool holder thingy and make a fitting so you could attach an "Acute" style table and associated holders – or equivalently a Worden.
