Rubber hose

I'm looking for some wound rubber hose either 1/8" or 4mm bore. The sort of thing would be like the hose used on loco brake pipes, but I can't find it in the catalogues I've looked at.

About 18inches total length needed. Does anyone know of a supplier?

Not seen it that small Dave. You may have to resort to winding wire around a plain hose and then covering with heat shrink insulation.

A length of bicycle valve rubber?

JB. Your idea is ok, if I can find thin enough rubber to start with. Don't want it too bulky!

NDIY. Can you get bicycle valve rubber in long lengths (2 x 9" or 4 x 4-1/2" – ish)? If so, that might be better than JB's idea.

But that is smooth hose, I thought you were after something that looked like the old reinforced hose. Could have pointed to to smooth straight away
