Has MEW or anyone created plans for a general purpose Rod Bending Tool for metal rods between 5mm and 10mm?

Good idea – but where exactly are the free plans? When I did a search for Rod Bending Tool – the MEW search engine produced no results.

Will it handle 10mm rod? You may be able to beef up this design to meet requirements, which will include a 3ft length of scaffold pole.

In the US there are vendors of Chinese tools that sell a scaled down version of the Hossfeld bender. They sell for under $100. Here is the link.

I assume similar benders are for sale in the UK.
