Hi All

I need to do some very intericate riveting what is the correct length that a rivet should stick through so after closing I get a perfect head many thanks in antisapation

1.429D but it will depend on the snap you are using and how tight a fit the rivit is in the hole. As a general guide do a couple of practice ones at 1.5D and see how they turn out
