As nobody else has started a thread about the new issue… thoughts after a first read –

• Cracking cover! Great lighting and love the puzzled look.
• One Man etc – really good again.
• Vertical lathe – wow! Would have loved to see pics of his 2' planer in action too..

In fact just about every article was good or excellent so I won't list them all… but just to say:

• 'Next issue' bit on p. 38 – looking forward to the threaded inserts thing if only so as to work out what on earth it is in the picture…
• Peter King's quiz – had an inkling for most of them but no. 2 had me stumped – was great to see the answer!

A great read – well done Neil and contributors – and Merry Christmas all!
