With the latest issue of Model Engineer there was Sheet 1 & 2 of the Metro locomotive drawing. I have all the magazines for the series but cannot find the drawings for the connecting rods and the motion plate. Does anyone know if these were published later or have a missed the pages when I scanned the articles.

If I have missed them could you give me the page numbers I have missed and I will find them and scan them

I have checked the last 2 issues and there were no drawings available for the Metro. Please can you tell me when they are going to be available.

The Metro Tank plans, sheets 3 and 4 are in issue 4544. They skipped 4542 because of the Mini Exhibition Guide with the lecture programme etc.

Hi Mike, the connecting rod and the motion plate are in ME Vol 140 issue No. 3484, pages 233-237 which also includes the valve spindle guide, the slide bar and the side elevation and plan of the motion.

Hi Mike,

When you get to the cylinders and valve gear give me a shout as I have some improvements.

It is a lovely loco. The valves between the cylinders is a bit of a challenge, but one of Martin Evans' rather good designs from his early period. The boiler is an excellent design.
