Left Hand Thread Lathe Collets

Can anybody help me!!

I have a large number of lathe collets (109). Having checked the dimensions i believe them to be "Type 5C". However, they have a 12TPI Left Hand thread. 48 of them are metric, in a fitted wooden draw and are marked with interlocking "C"s (possibly Crawford Collets) and the numbers 9252. They range from 1 to 25mm dia in 1/2 mm steps (8.5mm is missing). My wife has done a lot of research online but cannot find anything with Left Hand Threads.

What sort of collet chuck would they fit?

Are they rare? Are they worth anything?

Any information would be appreciated

I have a big selection of 5C collets some 70 years old (they came with my 1942 vintage South Bend lathe) and some recently purchased. Never seen any with left hand thread, new standard 5C collets can be bought for sub £6 each.

The 12 pitch thread is odd too. Standard 5 C's have a fine thread, 26 tpi if I remember correctly.
