evening been looking at getting an indexable internal thread tool from bangood it says it accepts 11nr and 11ir inserts anyone know the difference I thought one would be 55 degrees and the other 60 but it would appear not ?

Usually ER = External righthand and NR – Internal righthand
They're the same thing. Most manufacturers use NR to specify internal righthand, but some, for instance Vardex, use IR.

Thread angle should be shown at the end of the insert code, i.e. 11NRAG55 or 11NRAG60 etc
