      Dock tank locomotive " Dockleaf".

At a forthcoming auction, I have seen a box of castings, materials and scant written details of an 0-6-0 narrow gauge loco named DOCKLEAF. I have been unable to find anything on the web to identify it , and given that it appears to be of some age, could anyone please help with further information as to a supplier, or build drawings which may be of help. With thanks,

Many thanks for your quick reply to my request – it is exactly what I needed to identify the loco so far as it currently exists. Can I ask for a favour – do you have the rest of that article? a bit cheeky to ask, I suppose, but anything else would be most welcome!

            With thanks

              Castings?

Dockleaf was a one-off, as far as I know, unless someone else decided to make one of their own using gathered together bits.

If Jason hasn't got the other two pages, I can scan them. the only other dawings are a sketch of the cylinder block and a section through the valve, plus a fairly poor photo.

Seems to be largely cut by hand from brass, cylinders are from brass block, as are pistons. It is 4mm scale, so only 3"long x about 2" high.

If Jason can't let you have the rest of the article, send me a PM with your email address and I will send you a pdf file – 3 pages – I have one already.

Many thanks for the replies to my question. I now have enough to prove that the auction lot is mixed bits and bobs, with some Dockleaf mixed in – if my bid is successful I may well still build the model as such from the bits identified in the postings. Very impressed with the speed and accuracy of replies – thank you all.
