Ground MS bar

I need some 1/8″ ground mild steel bar, preferably free cutting.

Silversteel has caused me problems as I need to cross drill 0.5mm.

 

I can’t find a supplier who does sizes below 1/4″.

 

Anyone know who might stock it?

In my experience, the retail suppliers can be quite helpful in sourcing material even if it’s not in their catalogue. They know the wholesalers and what they can get. I have found the chap at Mallard Metals very helpful in this regard (and he has sourced PGMS for me once or twice, though not that small). I’m sure there are others just as good. I guess it helps if you go to them regularly!
