Graham Meek’s Discussions

Somebody pointed out that the discussions involving Graham Meek's screw cutting clutch articles and his micrometer dial for the carriage traverse hand wheel had been deleted. Did anybody think to either discussion in its entirety?

While his articles were published in an alternative magazine and republished in a second magazine, the discussions had a unique value in their own right. They illustrated the development of the mechanisms and covered many more examples of variants tailored to other machines besides the Myford.

Hoping for but not expecting some happy information.

Hello Anthony,

In short, there were a number of reasons why the information was removed, and those same reasons mean that it was and cannot be made available in another form.

I'll lock this thread as it's not a subject that will benefit from being trawled over again at length.
