Can someone please confirm/recommend how useful the Fobco guide is that you can buy from Lathes.co.uk.

I want to restore my new pruchase over the winter you see and thought this could be a useful guide if its well written.

      Cheers

      Phil

I cant really imagine a simpler machine to take to bits theres no special procedures needed.

          remove pulleys

remove quill handle..carefull with spring !!

          remove quill antirotation screw

          quill removes downwards

remove circlips and spindle drops out

remove bearings and replace if ness

Hmm, sounds pretty simple. I managed an ML7 with no instructions so am sure I can do it, just wanted to avoid pitfalls if any.

            Cheers
