I have an Omnimill and a cover for the pulleys and belts. Sadly it was never fitted when I bought the machine, I am trying to understand how it is fitted.

I appreciate it is bolted at the front but is there any support to the rear by the motor. My cover seems to rest on the grease nipple at the intermediate/middle pulleys is that correct or is something/bracket missing.

Have a look at my Omnimill rebuild album. There are two photos with the vertical head assembly in place without the cover fitted. There is a vertical shaft fitted to the motor support bracket. The cover sits on top of it and has a bolt to hold it in place.

Great found it 1/2' UNC so I can now make a support.

Certainly loved the restoration on your Omnimill, a good friend as a pastime does single to 3 phase phase convertors and designed and built on for my machine. Brilliant with the speed control, he also modified the existing table motor for single phase.
