Not really sure what you have in mind. Have you seen anything that fits that description?

When you say indexing, do you mean you can set it to a fixed angle increment or just a conventional quick change tool post?

Most came with Dickson toolposts. Do you know what they look like?

Hi. Suppose I wasn't totally clear. Many years on Capstan Lathes so tool post is indexable to 45° increments and most with the quick change toll cartridges. I saw one of these on a bantam, which, as you know, are mostly not index and use shims to plase tools height. . My definition of quick change is , one flick on the top nut and the tool holder can be removed and changed for a different tool. Tol height set by threaded Stud.and lockable. 90° increment would work for me too ..

Best to get a Dickson, Multifix or piston type QCTP from what you say. Several suppliers advertise on this site.
