So, I decided I'd do a narrative too……
240 v mains enters the nvr relay at terminals 14 and 24. The other side of these contacts, 13 and 23, carry the supply through to the other set of contacts, into terminals 33 and 43. The outgoing side of these terminals 34 and 44 now carry 240 v feeding the Run winding of the motor and also feeds the fwd/Rev switch for the Start winding, entering the switch at terminals 12 and 22. Straps from these terminals go across to 21 and 11 and are crossed over as shown on the drawing, this gives the fwd/rev action and the motor Start winding is connected to the centre terminals, 20 and 10.
With no power applied, all the nvr switch contacts are open, applying power and pressing the start button closes the contacts, the coil is energised by power fed from terminals 13 and 23 thus causing the nvr to latch.
Removing the power denergises the coil, and opening the contacts. Pressing the stop button opens the contacts and de-energises the coil.
Some would say the second set of contacts is superfluous, but it provides added safe guard from stuck contacts….
I think thats right?…….
