in the checkout (on there website) it does ask for a code (if you have one )

If you write your e-mail address on a ten pound note and send it to Ketan he will send you a five pound discount code in return

The code box is probably just part of the website software and as far as I know there have not been any discount codes issued

Hi Piero,

Earlier this year we updated our website and added the promotion code feature.

In tests, the function works fine for U.K. and European customers where the customers pay VAT. However, there is a bug for customers who do not pay VAT in the E.U., or non-E.U. customers where VAT is excluded, which the software providers are trying to fix.

I had notification from the developers yesterday afternoon that they have fixed the problems I had raised. I will need to test this next week. If it works as it is supposed to, then I will start issuing promotion code/s for certain product/s in about two to three weeks time, but don't get too excited, as I have still to decide what product/s will be selected.

Until the bug is fixed, we will continue to run promotions or deals or discounts as we have been doing to date.

I have quite a few things on my list of bits I want to buy,

I only live 10 miles away from Chronos (dunstable)

Its always a pain buying a couple of bits from one guy and a couple of bits from some one else only to save some money,

so I was hoping that I could shop my entire order with you guys.

Hi Piero,

I do understand. As a customer, having a choice is always a good thing. It keeps sellers like us on our toes. Chronos is a great company, and at he same time, we always appreciate any custom you chose to send our way. Thank you.

The concept of promotion code is still new to me. How and when it will be implemented once the problem is fixed is still too early to say.
