Anyone have parts for a Colchester Student?

Hi All,

I was scrapping my old Mk1 Student ( https://www.model-engineer.co.uk/forums/topic/colchester-student-should-i-scrap-it/ )

And someone offered to rescue it so I let him have it for free.

Unfortunately, I had already dismantled it and unfortunately I had already junked the tailstock and apron.

Note to self… never throw anything away.

Anyway, does anyone have an apron & or tailstock for a Mk1 Student ?

Hoping some old hoarders are on here…

Hi Wilson, it just happens that I have a tailstock for a round top student, it’s in pieces at the moment and some of the main body is a bit rusty. Also I haven’t found the key for the quill but otherwise complete.

It’s free to a good home if you want to collect it, I live in North Warwickshire, PM me if you want it.
