I ordered a long series slot drill from the auction site. Two standard ones turned up today … I won’t give them bad feedback because I suppose two short ones equals one long one! Still need a long series one though.
Funnily enough it was a 6mm I ordered. They will get used and at only a couple of quid it’s not an upset. I’ve found a UK supplier doing them for about £9 so I’ll add that to my next order for inserts.
Here’s hoping they are not 1/4” instead of the metric! 19mm/3/4” may not be too bad for most things, but 16mm/5/8” can definitely mean a nuisance difference.
Whilst I was still at work, one of our planners ordered me enough cable for a 130m cable run of 16 core co-ax; Stores sent me a 100m drum plus a separate 30m coil. Ho Hum.
