I'm not sure what this is going to be like but I'll give it a try at 7.30 tonight on BBC4.

      "Brushing up on Miniature Britain"

The usual shallow crap. I didn't expect anything else, really.

Slightly better than a Jonathon Ross show but not by much. Danny what was his name? – Celebrity? – Sorry, I'll get me coat !

Danny can be funny, but not here, replicating the workings of a 1938 GWR network is a very serious business.

Just like Poldark. How an organisation can spend so much on a drama which ends up crap. Lovely stories ruined by mostly poor acting , over acting and many mistakes. Nice women though.

Perhaps smart TVs will eventually have an application that automatically mutes Danny Baker?

I would rather have seen a rerun of the original episode of "One Foot in the Past" from which much of the programme was taken, or for that matter anything with Bob Symes.
