I have this DRO system for X and Y on my mill – **LINK**

I would like to use this LCD display with the above system – **LINK**

ARC tell me its does not work out the box as its designed for these ones – **LINK**

The say its something to do with the connector or wiring however he did go on to say that some people have got it to work.

Just wondering if anyone had done this?

There is an app on the web that uses an Android based tablet that will display your scales positions….Needs an Arduino interface tho' but is quite good…..depends on your electronic skills…

It will not be just a connector problem. the two different types of scales use different protocols. It MAY be possible to make a protocol converter but you would have to be prepared to do some research to find out which one of two protocols the scales in your third link use. It is likely they will be either 2 x 24 bit or BIN6 protocol. The scales that you have look like iGaging scales. There is code available to convert iGaging protocol to 2 x 24 bit protocol. but you would have to write your own code to convert to BIN6. In both cases you would have to build the converters yourself.

            Les.
