      @samlongley1

      I was looking to purchase a couple of new milling cutters & as I have a Warco chuck & collets that accepts threaded cutters I want to get threaded cutters. I have seen some cutters listed by a supplier as having "Clarkson" threads.

      Looking on the MSC site, which I found when I followed a link on another thread, I see they do threaded cutters but do not state what sort of thread.

      Loads of suppliers do them but do not state what thread

      How can I tell what thread I need or are they all a standard thread & is Clarkson the standard or is that a non standard one to be avoided

      Thanks

          I understand that "Clarkson' threads are all 20tpi [Whitworth form] regardless of diameter.

          These were intended for use with the Autolock Chuck.

          Superb system, but almost 'overtaken' by ER. sad

            ISO 3338-3 applies, I think you will find they are "standard"
